DESCRIPTION:<p>	<!--break--></p><p>	To help faculty adapt to the remote learning scenario in the Fall, LInc is offering a short course to complement the FAS training sessions. The course, for faculty only, will demonstrate how to increase student engagement and address the following questions:</p><ul>	<li>		How can I record my lectures and make them interactive even when viewed asynchronously?<br> 	</li>	<li>		What pedagogies might I leverage to best use synchronous time and keep students engaged?	</li></ul><p>	The sessions of the short course will focus on the following pedagogies:<br><br><strong>Lecturing</strong> — how to best record lectures, make them interactive even when delivered asynchronously, and free up synchronous time to interact with students.<br><br><strong>Case-based Learning</strong> — how to leverage intrinsic motivation by using cases in a virtual classroom.<br><span><span style="sans-serif">*This session will be conducted in Minerva’s virtual learning environment, Forum</span></span><br><br><strong>Project-based Learning </strong>— how to create and support compelling project experiences using opportunities afforded by remote learning.<br><br><strong>Team-based Learning</strong> — how to amplify online engagement and build a sense of community with well-designed team activities.<br><br>The LInc staff will be available over the summer to help support participants with specific course implementation issues.<br><br><font color="#4e83c3"><strong>Option 1: July 7-10, 9:00 - 10:30am each day<br>Option 2: July 14-17, 4:00 - 5:30pm each day</strong></font></p><p>	 </p>
